As NASCAR moves to the Circuit of the Americas this week, Hendrick Motorsports seems confident for more success. Hendricks Motorsports has clinched three out of five wins in NASCAR this season. However, team driver William Byron believes that they’ll have to be on top all year to qualify for playoffs.

On this, Toby Christie’s official Twitter handle posted, “HMS now has 3 wins in the first 5 races of 2022. This week on @thefinallap Weekly #NASCAR Podcast, @WilliamByron explains that teams will have to stay on top of the Next Gen car all year long, if they hope to still be the best for Playoffs.”

Talking about this, Byron conveyed, “Yeah I think it’s gonna be dynamic. As far as who’s good and what not. I think it’s gonna change a lot as we continue progressing throughout the year. We just have to keep up with it and you know continue to be on the leading edge.”

As of now, Chase Elliott leads the leaderboard with 171 points despite not having any pole or wins. He is followed by Joey Logano with 164 points; Logano is without pole or wins as well. In third, they have Chase Briscoe with a pole position and a win. Briscoe’s win has come in Phoenix and he has amassed 156 points, followed by William Byron at fourth with 150 points so far, with a win at Hampton.
