The 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season is just a little more than a month away and everyone is preparing for it. In terms of car launches, many are keeping their cards close to their chests. However, the Stewart-Haas Racing team could have potentially leaked Kevin Harvick’s livery for the upcoming season.

To be exact, the organization unveiled a Busch Light scheme for the #4 Ford. In all, the car has a blue and white livery and it is dominated by the Busch Light brand. The revelation came when the team showed off the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series schedule, and there was a picture of Harvick and the car.

Of course, there are still two pre-season tests to conduct in January. The first test kicks off at the Daytona International Speedway in the coming week on January 11th. Later on, there is a last test at the Phoenix Raceway, before the season kicks off in earnest.

Kevin Harvick and Stewart-Haas Racing want to redeem themselves

Truthfully speaking, the 2021 Cup Series championship was not a great campaign for the outfit. For Harvick in particular, he went winless for the entire season, though he somehow sneaked into the Playoffs. It was a far cry from the previous year, where he recorded the most wins of the season, though he faltered towards the end.

Now, the 2014 Cup Series champion is going to be back for more and is eager to make up for his mistakes. The veteran driver knows that the key to a fantastic campaign is to adapt quickly to the Gen 7 cars. Since not many know what the pecking order is, it is vital for teams to maximize performances. Without a doubt, Harvick and Stewart-Haas Racing will want to try and get their oar in first, ahead of any of their rivals.
