Earlier, there was a massive accident during the Xfinity Series race at the Texas Motor Speedway. The victims included Alex Labbe, JJ Yeley, Anthony Alfredo, David Starr, Ryan Ellis, and Jesse Iwuji.

Suffice to say, many NASCAR fans were furious with the drivers involved. This was because they all felt that the crash could have been avoided, and the entire situation was amateurish.

The fan’s ire was mostly because many drivers were overly eager to move up the order. So they ramped up the aggression and triggered multiple wrecks in the process.

Some felt like they were watching an ARCA Series race instead of an Xfinity Series race. According to them, half of the wrecked drivers did not even deserve to race in this category.

Some also joked that it was like watching a car crash from a movie. Others marveled at the drivers’ ability to wreck each other so often. Whatever the car, the general consensus was that the backmarker Xfinity Series drivers were not very good. A fair number of fans even compared the scene to the Wreckfest video game.

All in all, they felt that the standard of racing talent has dipped dramatically. So they were mostly venting at the poor display from the drivers at the rear of the field.

While all that was happening at the front, Tyler Reddick won the race ahead of William Byron. Meanwhile, Sam Mayer was the first of the regular drivers, finishing in 3rd place. Behind him were Justin Allgaier and Austin Hill, with Ryan Truex, Josh Berry, Riley Herbst, AJ Allmendinger, and Landon Cassill completing the Top 10.
