This came right after his spotter cautioned about Ryan Blaney’s presence on the outside, stating, “Still there, tight, tight, tight.”

At the end of the day, Joey Logano ended up picking P4 while his Penske teammate, Ryan Blaney, finished the race in 13th place.

Joey Logano came to blows with William Byron during the race

Behind Logano’s adorable smile is a driver that will do anything to win. He showcased that trait of himself after he ended up at a respectable P4 in the first playoff race of this season. However, that didn’t mean he managed to keep everyone happy on the racetrack.

This was after Logano controversially decided to shove Byron into the outside wall and then effortlessly cruise ahead.

In retaliation for Byron’s comments, Logano stated that he did so because the former had done the same to him earlier in the race and it was nothing but payback for Byron’s tactics.

After getting the Pole for himself the day before, Logano stated that he liked winning a lot, and after this round of the results, Logano has managed to climb to the top of the playoff standings.

Now with the next race scheduled at Kansas Speedway, only time will tell if the Penske driver has got what it takes to win another race and lead on the playoff glory.
