Double NASCAR Champion Alan Day Set to Join The NASCAR Grid

Alon Day, the Israeli race driver is looking at the NASCAR cup series return. He is set to sign the deal to race at the Daytona Road Course.

Forbes reports, “Daytona is something I’ve always thought about,” Day said while quarantining in Bulgaria. “It would be special to participate in the first NASCAR event at the road course.”

There are a few barriers for the race driver. He is yet to sign the deal with the sponsors. Aside from the sponsors, Alon Day should head out to America for the race. Travel in itself is the best test during the Covid-19 time.

Israeli Champion returns to NASCAR Cup Series

He turned into the only Israeli to contend in a Cup Series race. Moreover, In mid-October, he became the only Israeli driver to win a NASCAR series by securing the 2017 title. On September 17, 2018, Day came back to the NASCAR Cup Series driving the No. 23 Camry for BK Racing at Richmond.
