‘Drunk Groomsmen Behaving Like Toddlers’ Made Kyle Busch’s Wife’s Life ‘Fun’ During Her Formative Years

Kyle Busch has endured a roller-coaster 15-year career in NASCAR. The ups were amazing, which comprised winning the Cup Series twice, in 2015 and 2019. But the downs were equally upsetting with the most recent coming this season. Through all this, there has been one constant in his life and that’s his wife.

Kyle Busch married Samantha Sarcinella, in 2010. The couple has since gone from strength to strength. Now they are the proud owner of the racing team Kyle Busch Motorsports. They also have a boy named Brexton, who races for KBM in the junior circuits.

While Kyle continued racing, Samantha dived into diverse industries. Samantha was a psychology major from Purdue University, before pursuing a Master’s in Industrial Psychology. However, her professional career is contrasting with her education.

She has since written books, become an IVF advocate after having suffered difficulties in her own life, and has also started a couple of businesses. Most recently, she launched Avanti the Label, a clothing brand, in 2017.

In an Instagram Q&A, she also revealed what jobs she did before she married Kyle. One question she received was “What was your HS job?”

She replied to the fan, “I worked at a gym and then babysat and then on the weekends I worked as a server at weddings but then got promoted to manning the chocolate fountain/dessert table. It was really funny I can’t tell you how many drunk groomsmen tried to drink from the fountain or fling chocolate everywhere like toddlers.”

More than anything, Samantha’s answer shows one thing – even the people we consider superstars and celebrities had ‘normal’ lives before they became famous. 

The Kyle Busch saga at Joe Gibbs Racing finally ends

15 years in the team but it had to end sometime – and that sometime came this season. Unfortunately for Busch, he had to deal with a double blow when M&M announced they won’t be sponsoring him, and JGR declined a contract renewal.

For Busch, another door opened, with Richard Childress Racing approaching him with an opportunity. But JGR left fans in limbo as they had not announced the replacement of the Las Vegas native in the team.

That part is now settled as JGR announced Ty Gibbs’s promotion to the Cup Series in 2023. However, the 20-year-old won’t be driving Kyle’s #18 car. Ty will drive the #54 Toyota Camry, the same car he used for his Xfinity Series-winning season in 2022. 

Ty’s announcement for the Cup Series, expectedly, came with a dearth of fanfare or celebration. He lost his father, Coy Gibbs, the night he won the Xfinity Series in an untimely and unexpected death.

It is ironic that the joyous news for Ty comes at such a testing time in his life. The 20-year-old has been making strides and learning the ropes. Hopefully, he will make his father proud in his debut season.
