A few weeks ago, Busch Light Beer announced the Accelerate Her program. This is an initiative by Busch Beer to promote and enable female racecar drivers to drive at the highest level of NASCAR. Female drivers Toni Breidinger, Natalie Decker, Toni Breidinger, Jennifer Jo Cobb, Amber Balcaen, Brittney Zamora, Stephanie Moyer, and Melissa Fifield were some of the names in this program.

However, one of those women is no longer a part of it.

In an exclusive interview with Essentially Sports, Tony Breidinger, the first Arab-American racecar driver in NASCAR history, confessed she is no longer a part of the Busch Beer program.

“I’m actually not part of the Busch Beer program anymore,” she said.

As to why she’s no longer involved with that program, Breidinger kept the reasons to herself and dealt with modesty – “I think some other girls are still part of it and I can only speak for myself, but I’m no longer with them.”

Essentially Sports reached out to Busch Light for an explanation for the same, but a response hasn’t been made from their end so far.

While the ARCA driver’s PR person commented, “She went in a different direction and is focusing with her existing sponsors and a few new ones that will be announced soon.”

Tony Breidinger on her plans this season

Now that she’s no longer a part of the Busch Beer program, Tony Breidinger says her focus is now on ARCA Racing with Venturini Motorsports. “I have a race coming up this weekend, this Friday at Phoenix,” she said.

“I’m really excited for that. It’s a big field. I think we have forty cars racing, so if we can get a top ten in that race, that would be really exciting.”

She described the biggest thing for her this season would be to improve week in week out and build positive momentum in what is her first full-time season.

“Just improve and learn and have that cycle going and hopefully you know, get those top tens, top fives, and hopefully eventually, a win.”
