After Fan Controlled Sports+Entertainment and EssentiallySports sub-brand, Lucky Dog on Track, wowed fans at Talladega, the No. 14 Car’s crew chief was ecstatic. Jason Miller, fielding the underdog Xfinity driver Mason Massey, expected a Stage 2 finish at best. However, Miller was starstruck when his driver brought home an impressive 11th-place finish.
In an exclusive interview with EssentiallySports, the hearty crew chief looked happy. But in the not-so-distant past, Miller was not so happy, being riled up in a brawl with another Xfinity underdog driver. Despite getting punished, he now broached that topic with a hilarious pants joke.

In the NASCAR Xfinity Race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, tensions hiked in the end. DGM Racing driver Kyle Weatherman got into the bad books of Jason Miller, crew chief of J. J. Yeley. During the 59th lap of the RAPTOR King of Tough 250 race, Weatherman bumped into Yeley’s car. The No. 14 car was sent spinning out of control.
That was all it took for Miller to be irked, as he hollered into the radio, “He better have some pants on after this race, because I’m going to come find him.” Then post-race, he tried to grab Weatherman by the collar, throwing a stern warning. NASCAR handed Miller a two-race suspension as punishment.
But Weatherman proved his cool attitude by tweeting soon after: “Do we need #PantsOn Merch???”
Now, in an interview with EssentiallySports, reporter Josh Macuga asked Miller if he got a chance to buy those pants. Miller responded, “I did not. No, I did not.”
Macuga asked, “No pants for the crew chief?”
And Jason Miller hilariously said, “No no, I didn’t get any. I got pants on now. I’m not riding around naked, I promise.”

With a stellar finish at Talladega, it seems that the crew chief’s temper has cooled down. That is even more evident as Miller does not suspect Weatherman to be the snitch at the Talladega race.

After the Atlanta pants discussion was done and dusted, our reporter Josh Macuga now broached Talladega. SS Green Light Racing’s partners, FCSE and Lucky Dog on Track were almost kicked out of the paddock as a driver reported them for being too loud.

Macuga asked Miller if he suspects his old enemy Weatherman. The crew chief thought not, but offered a warning to whoever was responsible. As has been the rumor, it was probably a prominent Cup driver: “Somebody (I don’t know if it’s true or not), somebody said it was Michael McDowell…I don’t know how true that is, I cannot confirm that. But when I see Michael, I’m gonna whip his a**.”
Who do you think is the real culprit for miffing Jason Miller this time?
