As Hailie Deegan’s future in NASCAR remains in doubt, another female driver seems to be rising up the ranks and into the Truck Series. However, after a recent announcement of the new driver, fans felt outraged at the disrespect shown towards Deegan and other female racing drivers in NASCAR. But that didn’t mean Deegan escaped the heat. Fans also snubbed her regarding a major opportunity within the sport.

Step One Motorsport announced, “We’re excited to announce our new ambassador is @NASCAR_Trucks‘ only female driver, @NatalieRacing! Representing the future of the competition and paving the way for women in motorsports, her story is inspirational. We can’t wait to watch Natalie continue in her racing career“
However, through this statement, they forgot to mention drivers such as Hailie Deegan or Jennifer Jo Cobb. Maybe the reason they left Deegan out was probably that it isn’t sure where she will be heading next in her career. As it stands, there are speculations about getting an SHR affiliate opportunity.
However, fans of the sports think that Deegan is not ready to be promoted up to Xfinity or above. Fans stated, “I wish her the best of luck, but she really hasn’t proven herself enough to get a top ride. I know she has the sponsors in Monster and Ford, so eventually, she will be given a chance.” While another one said, “If she like Danica Patrick who needs her lol.” Yet another stated, “No thank you. The last one didn’t work. They will rush her up to cup too soon,”

Fans felt flabbergasted at the audacity to claim that Natalie Decker was the only female driver in the Truck Series. They soon took over to ask whether they had forgotten that Deegan was a part of the series, too.
