Despite the Coca-Cola 600 getting postponed due to unprecedented weather playing the spoilsport, the hype revolving around the longest race of the season is still at large. The community is certainly awaiting the biggest showdown in one of the most iconic venues in the sport. While ardent racing fans are eagerly waiting for this week’s race, on a side note, the race at Charlotte will also mark NASCAR driver, Austin Dillon‘s 350th race start.

While the Richard Childress Racing driver has been struggling throughout this season, the 2017 Coca-Cola winner was brutally roasted by online fans as NASCAR’s promotional effort went terribly wrong for the 33-year-old.

Given his shaky career with just 3 wins coming off 350 career starts, frenzied fans quickly bashed Richard Childress’s grandson as they deemed him a no-talent born with a silver spoon!

NASCAR’s flair spells trouble for Austin Dillon as disappointed fans bash the driver for his inconsistency

While the #3 driver resembles the legendary Dale Earnhardt Sr. due to the iconic number 3 badging, the similarities end right there. Dale Earnhardt Sr. was a solid contender behind the wheel as ‘The Intimidator” laid siege to the entire track and proved time and time again his indomitable will.

Even the jet-black #3 car was a nightmare for many of his fellow drivers. The current #3 in the Cup Series is rather on a steep descent from the top. While Dillon has shown his talent behind the wheel occasionally when he won the 2017 Coca-Cola 600 and the most iconic race in NASCAR, the 2018 Dayton 500. Unfortunately for RCR fans, the driver has never been able to emulate such an impressive performance ever again.

This aspect of the driver reverberates loudly among the community, as many consider him a privileged individual competing in his grandfather’s team. Austin Dillon is also the 2011 Truck Series champion. However, the 2023 season so far has been a disaster for the driver. With just one top 5 performance and 3 top 10s, the 33-year-old is yet to attain a much-needed win this season.

On the other hand, the organization’s effort to pump some excitement into the community backfired horrendously as NASCAR’s tweet was used to troll AD for his inconsistency. This week’s race marks the driver’s 350th career start. But furious fans did not let this one slide as they called out the driver for his lackluster ordeals.

Moreover, Dillon’s team is struggling due to the inadequacy of their race car as Dillon’s teammate Kyle Busch found out the hard way at NWB. With the race car underperforming and Dillon’s constantly underwhelming ventures, fans looked like they had enough of the driver as they brutally bashed him left and right.

The community has always hated privilege over talent, and Dillon’s car proves that point just right. Upcoming drivers have to prove their skill behind the wheel while constantly improving themselves, and grinding on the track. However, Austin Dillon, who has been given the dream opportunity, is slacking off given his persistent lack of form.

Even rising prospects such as Tyler Reddick and Joe Gibbs Racing‘s Christopher Bell promise fans much more excitement compared to the dull #3 driver. Now, coming to the present scenario with the Charlotte Motor Speedway bracing itself for a grand race, fans did not approve of NASCAR’s idea to showcase Dillon with his 350th career start.

Enraged fans were quick to jump the gun as they rag-dolled the driver mercilessly.

Now he needs to start winning more races.” Wrote one fan while others roasted him.

Another fan expressed his disbelief seeing the number, “350 starts and only  4 wins”
