While the Kansas finish was already a major point of conversation in the NASCAR community, it seems Chris Buescher and Brad Keselowski‘s RFK Racing team have already stirred up trouble. On one hand, there was the #17 driver and his crew chief Scott Gavin, who seemed to accept their fate. However, on the other hand, with a social media update, the team seems to be taking a veiled dig at NASCAR.

Brad Keselowski RFK Racing’s cryptic tweet

After the AdventHealth 400, Brad Keselowski’s team shared a cryptic image on X (with no caption), featuring the start-finish line at the Kansas Speedway. Perhaps what the team aimed to point out was the uneven paint job. So, was RFK Racing indirectly implying the decision to crown Hendrick Motorsports’ Kyle Larson was erroneous and that their own driver should’ve won instead?

The race ending this weekend was indeed an edge-of-the-seat thriller, leaving onlookers confused. However, Scott Gavin did admit that it was indeed Kyle Larson who deserved Victory Lane, after being presented with photographic evidence.

Having said that, with indications of some of Keselowski’s team members still not convinced by the verdict and using social media to make their case, fans were certainly not pleased.

Die-hard fans will support their loved team no matter what. But that was not the case with RFK recently. After their recent tweet, fans thrashed the team for their post, with one even calling them out for being a “sore loser”.

After the race, Kyle Larson indeed discuss a scenario where Chris Buescher would emerge as the winner and clearly pointed out how that wouldn’t bug him at all. I think I respect the heck out of his talent. So I think, you know, I think if I would have finished, say he won, and I finished second, like I was still happy,” the #5 said.

Some fans even flooded RFK’s comment section with screenshots that showed how Larson was the first to cross the line, after barely edging out the #17 driver.

Notably, NASCAR doesn’t actually use the start-finish line to determine a race victor. One user got into this technical aspect and even shared a video later to reveal how things actually go down.

One fan even penned down some words of wisdom, writing, “The sooner you turn the page, the better”. Hopefully, Brad Keselowski’s team members will be able to take note of this advice and ensure victory in the upcoming races.
