Toni Breidinger’s 2025 season in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series has been a grind, piloting the No. 5 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for Tricon Garage in her first full-time campaign. Across 20 starts, she’s yet to crack a win, top-5, or top-10, and her average finish is hovering around 24.8. Still, locking down a full-season ride is a big deal for the 26-year-old, giving her the consistency and exposure to grow in a tough field.

As the only Arab-American woman running full-time in NASCAR’s top three series, Breidinger’s a trailblazer, even if the results haven’t yet matched her potential. Tracks she’s getting more comfortable with, like Bristol or Kansas, could be where she turns heads.
But off the track, Breidinger faced a gut punch in August when her car was broken into in Ithaca, New York, and her custom Tumi suitcase, stuffed with personal items and her prized 818 and Coach firesuits, was stolen. Weeks later, she now gets another shocking update.

Breidinger’s stolen gear found
Toni Breidinger turned to fans for help after a rough night in Ithaca, New York, on August 8. “Anyone in the Ithaca NY area!” she posted on Twitter. “My car was broken into last night, and my suitcase was stolen. It’s a custom Tumi suitcase with TB on it. Inside were personal items, including my 818 and Coach suits.” The loss of her firesuits, custom gear critical for racing, was a blow, especially mid-season in the playoff push.

Breidinger asked fans to keep an eye out, hoping for any clue to track down her stuff. It’s not clear if a tip came through, but on Tuesday, Tricon Garage dropped a feel-good update: pictures of Breidinger, all smiles, clutching her recovered firesuits and posing for the camera.

The joy was palpable. Getting her gear back, especially those 818 and Coach suits, was a win off the track for a driver still chasing one on it. After a season of tough finishes, this small victory gave Breidinger and her team a much-needed boost as the playoffs roll toward New Hampshire.
But while Breidinger’s celebrating her recovered gear, the NASCAR rumor mill is buzzing about her future with Tricon Garage.

Can Toni Breidinger turn her season around, or is her seat at Tricon Garage in jeopardy?

Toni Breidinger on the move?
The 26-year-old influencer-turned-racer has climbed from ARCA to a full-time Truck Series ride since 2018, but her 2025 stats, no wins, top-5s, or top-10s, haven’t sparked much silly season chatter about her specifically.

Instead, Tricon’s roster moves are stealing the spotlight. The big shakeup started with Niece Motorsports’ shocking release of Kaden Honeycutt in August, after claims he signed with a rival team and OEM for 2026. Honeycutt, now subbing for the injured Stewart Friesen in Tricon’s No. 52 Toyota, is rumored to stick with Toyota and Tricon next year, chasing a championship.
Tricon’s packed lineup, including rising star Corey Heim, who’s tied to 23XI Racing, has fans speculating someone’s got to move. Could it be Breidinger? With Toyota Gazoo Racing prospects like Brent Crews potentially joining for 2026, possibly in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series part-time, Tricon might need to shuffle trucks. If they expand to add a second ride, Breidinger’s seat could be at risk, especially with her mid-20s finishes compared to Heim’s five wins in 2025.
