She has plenty of achievements to justify the pedestal she sits on. However, as a race car driver, Patrick had one ‘Woman’ record that she really wanted.

In an interview from 2020, she talked about her retirement and being a woman in a male-dominated sport. He also shed light on one record she wanted to set in her racing career, in not just NASCAR Cup Series but also the IndyCar series. And that record was winning in both the series. Sadly, this didn’t come to fruition.

How unfortunate. Maybe if she stayed in racing, she might have made the record. But why did she retire?
Why Did Danica Patrick Retire From Racing?
After a promising career in IndyCar and then in the NASCAR Cup Series, Patrick announced her departure after the 2017 season. Since then, she’s been focusing on herself and managing her businesses as well as her podcast. But why did she quit racing?
