The Camping World SRX Series made its fourth stop of the 2023 season at the iconic Berlin Raceway, and the fans were treated to another masterclass performance by the one and only Kyle Busch. For the second consecutive week, the racing world witnessed the sheer force of Busch’s talent as he triumphed yet again, leaving no room for doubt that he is indeed the king of SRX.

In a race that kept everyone on the edge of their seats, Busch showcased his prowess by taking control on a late restart in the main event and cruising to victory. However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing for the reigning champion.

An amusing moment occurred during the race when Joey Logano dialed into Busch’s radio on the ESPN broadcast. In typical Rowdy fashion, he humorously responded with a casual “I’m busy,” drawing chuckles from viewers and leaving Logano momentarily stunned.

“I could help spot you along, but what I want to know is how hard are you pushing that thing right now? You play the little cat-mouse with Brad out there. How much you got left?” Logano asked.

“Yeah, definitely a little cat-mouse. Right now you’re just trying to modulate your gap, but you know, hearing you on my radio, that f**king lights the fire under my a**.” Busch’s voice on the radio vibrated with energy.

The interaction between the two stars was reminiscent of the in-race communication between Conor Daly and Clint Bowyer. Logano briefly acted as a spotter for Busch, mirroring Daly’s role for Bowyer in a quirky parallel that added an extra layer of entertainment to the already thrilling event.

At the start, Busch narrowly evaded a crash with none other than Brad Keselowski, the same driver he had bumped out of the lead just a week ago. It was an exhilarating moment that nearly shattered Keselowski’s aspirations of completing the race for the second consecutive time.

As the laps progressed, another star emerged, adding a touch of excitement to the event. The legendary Helio Castroneves, a four-time Indianapolis 500 champion, brought the crowd to its feet as he mirrored Clint Bowyer’s strategy from the previous week, hugging the apron and raising dust clouds through the field. It was a sight to behold, and Castroneves seized the lead from Keselowski, eliciting a deafening roar from the packed Michigan crowd.

However, Berlin’s unforgiving track had its say in the race’s outcome, and Castroneves soon struggled with tire wear. A caution bunched up the field, and it was the perfect opportunity for Busch to capitalize on the Brazilian legend’s misfortune. Like a predator seizing its chance, Busch swiftly reclaimed the lead and never looked back.
