After the Quaker State 400 race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Ross Chastain became the talk of the town because of his aggressive driving. During the DirtyMo Media podcast a few days ago, Dale Earnhardt had a few words to say about that.

Dale said, “I think that somebody will do something. I don’t know if it will be Denny. But I think somebody will, he’ll be on the other end of this.”

Adding, “He’ll get turned around somewhere or do something even intentional maybe. And I’ll be interested in watching his reaction. And I hope that it’s anger right. I hope that it’s frustration. I’m anxious to see that side of it.”

Talking about Denny Hamlin he said, “and I for Denny’s sake I hope he does do something. He’s kind of being put in a position back against the wall where gosh! You gotta do something.”

“It’ll be interesting to see if Denny is presented with the opportunity what he chooses to do.”

Amid all this, Denny even stated he reached his ‘peak’ with Chastain.

Ross Chastain called out after the Atlanta crash

Recently, Austin Dillon called out Chastain after he caused a nine-car wreck during the Atlanta Motor Speedway. After the race, Dillon expressed how he was “just a casualty of Ross Chastain once again.”

With just a couple of laps remaining, Chastain moved up on the banking and bumped into Denny Hamlin, causing him to spin out. Prior to the wreck, Denny was up in 4th place and Ross in 5th. Denny had to drag himself back to the pits while Ross was able to carry on with body damage.

However, this isn’t the first time these two locked horns. Back in June, Ross squeezed Hamlin into the wall at the World Wide Technology Raceway. Hamlin answered the latter by blocking him with his slower car throughout the rest of the race.
