After securing his dream, to be part of stock car racing, Frankie Muniz is currently trying out his luck in NASCAR’s ARCA Menards series. Following the race at Michigan, Muniz revealed his thoughts about the event post-race where he revealed the alarming funding issue that may deter the 37-year-old from his dream of winning the championship.

Despite, Jesse Love’s dominating run at Berlin, the Camry driver just couldn’t capitalize on a win while Muniz on the other hand has been consistent with his performance as he finished the race sixth. Muniz then vented out his frustration, mentioning his awful qualifying run.

He then spoke about “the longest race of his career,” Muniz said, “I’m thrilled that physically I finished because I thought I was gonna be, it was going to be a struggle to do 200 laps, it’s the longest race I’ve ever done but I feel fine I could probably do 200 more but learned a lot and ready for Elko next week.”

While Muniz shared his enthusiasm about the race, Fronstretch’s Mark Kristl tweeted a piece of shocking news shortly after his interview, and that has caught thousands of eyeballs. Curious fans then started an intense discussion online as Kristl hinted a major funding issue Muniz has on hand right now.

Soon the tweet spread like wildfire in the community as fellow enthusiasts and ardent fans dived into the topic wholeheartedly, discussing the driver’s future after fresh rumors surfaced on the internet.

The last few days were a shocker for Redditers as they were caught up in a crossfire between Reddit’s updated API regulations prompting fellow subreddits to stage a protest against the platform’s norms. And consequently, subreddits have gone blank following their 2 days of protest.

With those 2 days in the past now, the community is back again on their favorite platform, actively discussing the happenings of NASCAR. Taking things to Reddit, fans shared Mark Kristl’s tweet to go on about with their thoughts.

Fans did not shy away from a debate as they lauded the actor-turned-racer for his undying passion for the sport and acknowledged his sincere approach to the sport.

What’s cool about Frankie is he actually seems interested in racing. Not one of those celebrities that does it for the “bragging rights”

Another fan noted how the 37-year-old transitioned into the racing,

Absolutely. I remember when he did Dancing with the Stars a few years ago, and he would just randomly talk about his passion for racing. It wasn’t his job, he didn’t have a seat, he could’ve been there to promote any number of things he could make money promoting, but he’d just talk about racing, genuinely.”

Whereas another fan mentioned the intense scenario in Truck Series.

I kinda want him to run ARCA for a couple of years, and take on a couple of hot seats in Trucks before jumping in.”

I wonder if he’s moving up he’s been great in arca”

Well, for now, his route to the top may seem strenuous but Muniz has never been the kind of man to shy away from adversity, like when he came back after his horrific crash in 2009. Although his comeback took longer than most, Muniz’s entry into ARCA is certainly a solid move.
