The Cup Series race at Richmond Raceway caused quite a stir among fans. While Hendrick Motorsports continued with its brilliant run in the season, things didn’t go as planned for Michael Jordan’s 23XI Racing. So, when NASCAR sent out a tweet that portrayed a seemingly frustrated, tight-jawed image of the team owner, fans dotted all I’s and crossed all T’s with their expert suggestions.

To the surprise of fans and rival team owners alike, Michael Jordan was present in the paddock. In the Cup Series race at the Richmond Raceway, both the 23XI Racing drivers didn’t perform well which is evident by Jordan’s reaction. Bubba Wallace finished 22nd while Tyler finished 16th. Bubba Wallace, in the heat of his post-COTA performance, got relatively frustrated. His poor performances in Atlanta and Austin had upset the apple cart. In a post-race interview, he said, “Just trying my hardest not to go down that slippery slope of self-doubt right here […], need to be replaced.” Later, he took a completely different stance.

His comment amassed a lot of hostility from the NASCAR community. For many, Bubba Wallace seemed more like a “Cry Baby” than a NASCAR driver.

Wallace’s fickle-minded behavior has made fans more furious than he was. While Wallace was caught in a moment of weakness, there is still a lot many miles for him to go this season.
