While the NASCAR world was celebrating Kyle Busch’s record-breaking win at Auto Club 400, there was another milestone he reached that day. As it turns out, Rowdy and his brother Kurt Busch broke the Allisons’ record for the most wins for a brother pair in NASCAR history. So it is safe to say that it was an incredible week for the Busch family. In light of their latest success, both brothers were invited to the new episode of NASCAR Live podcast before the next race in Vegas. As the interviewer mentioned Brandon Bernstein from Lucas Oil, Busch’s sponsor, got emotional over his win, Kyle shared how things were so different when he was younger.

Although Rowdy has managed to achieve massive success himself and now has fans following him for his autograph, he was a big fan of Brandon’s dad, Kenny Bernstein, former drag racer and NASCAR team owner.

How Kyle Busch got lucky for his fan moment?

Rowdy’s father worked with MAC tools, sponsors for Kenny Bernstein, the Bud King. He revealed that he had his fan moment with the Bud King a few times because of his father.

Kyle said, “So he [his dad] got to see Kenny a few times at some of the MAC tools functions that he went to and we got die-cast signed by him, t-shirts signed by him, all kinds of stuff.”

Seeing Brandon at the race, Rowdy was excited. He said, “You know, you’re cool as well. I was straight up I was like, but I loved your dad. And it was just neat to kind of share a little bit in that story and to have him being as excited to see me and for our race that day. It was really fun.”

Kyle Busch gets emotional about his and his brother’s latest achievement

In a press conference, Kyle Busch revealed the emotional truth behind him and Kurt becoming NASCAR’s most-successful brothers. Though the fairly new Richard Childress Racing driver had more wins than Kurt, he gave his brother a lot of credit. But, on an emotional note, he shared that his brother has left him to do all the heavy lifting as he has taken a break from racing.

Rowdy wishes for Kurt to be on the track along with him. He also appreciates the fact that his brother is still around, even though it is with his role at 23XI Racing. Rowdy added that Kurt was emotional and was present in the post-race celebrations. It certainly was a beautiful moment for the Busch brothers to cherish.
