In 2021, Grant Enfinger had his first stint with CR7 Motorsports owing to a lack of sponsorship availability at ThorSport that left him with no choice but to run part-time for both teams. However, driving for both teams enabled Enfinger to participate in 21 out of 22 Truck Series races held in 2021.

Later, in 2023, Grant Enfinger ended up competing in ARCA for CR7 Motorsports and clinched top-5 finishes at the Charlotte Motor Speedway and Milwaukee Mile Speedway. Seeing his progress, the team teased a revelation about their 2024 Truck Series driver, which has sent the fanbase waiting for the much-awaited announcement.

Codie Rohrbaugh owned CR7 Motorsports and started by venturing into the ARCA and Truck Series from 2016 to 2021 on a part-time basis. But with time, they have progressed to full-time racing in the Truck Series. During the 2021 season, in only 9 races, Grant Enfinger clinched notable positions like 1 top-5 finish, 3 top-10 finishes, a P4 finish at Circuit of the Americas, and two P7 finishes at Las Vegas for CR7 Motorsports. This year, at the ARCA series, Grant Enfinger secured top-5 finishes at the Charlotte Speedway and Milwaukee Speedway for CR7 Motorsports.

Despite driving part-time for the team, his massive success streak made him the best CR7 Motorsports performer in 2021, coming in proximity with the team owner’s best record of a third-place finish at the Truck Series race held on the Daytona 500 in 2020.

Grant Enfinger’s contribution and consistency in such a short stint with the team have made the fans wonder about his future with the #9 truck’s seat in 2024, following which CR7 Motorsports unveiled a teaser on X.
