Recently, it was confirmed that John Hunter Nemechek and Front Row Motorsports would part ways in 2021. The good news is that the Kyle Busch Motorsports Truck team has offered Nemechek a lifeline. Obviously, the driver is thrilled to get an opportunity to race in the 2021 season.

In the wake of the news, he spoke about the new role. Nemechek said, “There were some things at the end of the year. I didn’t know where I stood on coming back to Front Row Motorsport. Didn’t know if that was going to be an option for me. So when we started looking at options, it kinda came through. I had a great relationship with everyone at Toyota.”

In fact, Kyle Busch admitted that his team needs an experienced head in the truck. This is largely because the 2021 Truck Series schedule includes various events without any practice or qualifying. Owing to this, having someone of Nemechek’s caliber will be a massive boon.
