Hailie Deegan Grateful for Fans’ Concern After Terrifying Experience

Whenever any athlete becomes successful, fame goes hand-in-hand with it. Unfortunately, there is also a dark side to that kind of fame. As it turned out, NASCAR Truck driver Hailie Deegan and her boyfriend Chase Cabre, had a small brush with it.

Apparently, the couple had a massive scare when Deegan had to deal with a potential stalker. It got to a stage where she was forced to miss the Freedom 500 race due to death threats. She and her boyfriend recently took to YouTube to explain the situation and how harrowing it was for them.
It's sad that people do that and can't treat you like a human being even though you're a celebrity. Praying everything gets figured out!!

Speaking about the experience, she said, “There was an eight-page handwritten letter sent to David Gilliland Racing, which is a team I race for in the Truck Series. Stating that he was dating me and in a relationship with me for multiple, multiple months. He was in love with me, infatuated with me, I was his soul mate. It kind of scared me a little bit, because I’ve dealt with stalker situations before. People being obsessive over me, and actually taking action on it.”

What else did Hailie Deegan say?
Deegan suspected that the person who penned the letter must have been a victim of a catfishing incident. To be precise, somebody possibly posed as her and decided to lead the person on a wild goose chase. What Deegan and Cabre did not like was that the person who wrote the letter, then took to social media to discredit their relationship.
Such a rough situation. I get requests from 5-10 accounts pretending to be a variety of different people daily. It's sad that people can't put this kind of energy into being productive members of society. I hope things get better for you both asap.

The person had some sort of delusion that Cabre was ill-treating Deegan. However, the Truck driver insisted that those were simply fabrications. She also confessed that she would not be normally too worried about it. However, what scared her was that the culprit lived in her neighborhood. As a result, Hailie Deegan felt ‘uncomfortable’ and ‘scared’.

Up until a while ago, the stalker seemed relatively harmless. However, that all changed a week ago, when he threatened bodily harm or potentially kill Chase Cabre. According to Deegan, the aggressor has a past criminal record. It explains why both of them are so worried.

The situation was so dire that they even involved the police. Suffice to say, the couple was quite restless for a few nights. Both of them are taking as many precautions as possible because this is a scary scenario. They did reach out to the person, multiple times, but the message appears, hasn’t sunk in. In light of this, many fans flocked to social media to applaud Deegan and Cabre for being extremely brave in such a situation.
