Hailie Deegan is a full-time driver in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Arguably, Deegan is one of the most prominent female drivers in the three main Strock Car racing series. However, this season hasn’t been too kind to her, and the same was the case in Nashville. Right around the end of the race, disaster struck for the driver of the #1 truck.

Right as the race restarted after caution, Deegan was caught in a wreck, causing her truck to spin and crash.

And this brought out another caution flag. It’s very unfortunate, considering she was flirting with a top-15 finish. Finally, she got her truck running and finished 28th. Later, she tweeted a one-word response, summing up how she felt.

All-in-all, an unfortunate result for Hailie Deegan.

And, if this wasn’t enough, she revealed she is struggling to compete in the Xfinity Series as well.

Hailie Deegan Didn’t Pay Much Attention To Stewart Friesen

Although Nashville wasn’t a great race for Deegan, Gateway was very different, where she had a tussle with Stewart Friesen. In fact, Deegan had a top-15 finish. This is great for the driver. However, in that race, Stewart Friesen was on the receiving end of Hailie Deegan’s pace. The 2nd stage had the two drivers having a showdown.

Unfortunately, Friesen suffered damage after contact with Deegan and was clearly unhappy. However, the driver of the #1 truck didn’t pay heed to anger.

She said, “I think everyone was upset with everybody. Yeah. If there were at least ten trucks trying to wreck each other in a caution, it is the whole race it’s everybody.”

She added, “It’s always someone new every race and stuff with everybody in the truck, it’s always you watch it, you could be dead last watching. You see about ten trucks trying to wreck each other under caution.”

In the end, it’s certainly an unfortunate result, and all we can do is hope the season turns around for her.
