It can be said without much hesitation that Texas was a disaster for NASCAR. Not only did the drivers suffer a flood of problems on track, but officiating was really off the mark, something for which Kyle Busch, in a very Kyle Busch style called them out for regarding an incident.

The incident which involved his teammate Denny Hamlin and Hendrick Motorsports youngster, William Byron.

What happened was, under caution, Byron spun Hamlin out as a ‘payback’ for an incident earlier in the race. Now, normally such an action wouldn’t go unpunished, let alone, unnoticed, but this time, it did.

And the fact it did led Busch to unleash his wit.

“No penalty for this?! Depends on who you are I see,” he wrote.

But the peculiar thing about the ‘no penalty’ for this incident wasn’t lost on NASCAR fans either. In fact, they furthered Busch’s point and called out NASCAR for their ‘Hendrick bias’.

Kyle Busch reacts to yet another disappointing race

If you asked Kyle Busch which song he’s listening to or rather, resonating the most to at this time, it’d probably be ‘Wake Me Up When September Ends’ by Green Day.

The Joe Gibbs Racing driver has had a miserable run of races recently, with Texas being the third time he was unable to finish a race.

Speaking after his early exit this time around, Busch blamed the circumstances on the resin of the track.

“I guess you would think being a hundred-and-something degree track temp, it would be activated and ready to go, but I tried to get in it earlier than everybody else,” he said. “I just decided to go high and try to keep time or make time on him and it just snapped.”

“Once these cars snap, they are gone. They are not like the old one where you have a little bit of time to react and catch it.”
