As we get closer to the weekend for the race at COTA, there have been several drivers eyeing the win at this road course. Despite there being many favorites for the top spot, one specific Hendrick Motorsports insider thinks that a Kaulig Racing driver is not getting the respect he should get ahead of the race.

Recently, during a podcast with one of Dale Earnhardt Jr‘s podcasts, HMS insider and current NASCAR broadcaster, Steve Letarte, demanded that fans should show more support towards a specific driver.

During the podcast, Letarte said, “Why is Dinger not getting any more respect man? I can find him at 12 to 1.”

“I feel like that’s a heck of a value. The guy can win at a road course.”

“He was in potential chance to win at COTA last year. I think no cautions, that helps him better, I think tire fall off helps him better. I think A. J. Allmendinger has a chance to go win this thing by 10 seconds.”

Fans agree with Steve Letarte’s thoughts on A. J. Allmendinger

The last time around, A. J. Allmendinger had a chance of winning the race. However, he fell short of it. But this year, Letarte remains confident that he would be able to smoke the grid for the win. He predicted a win with a margin of a solid 1o second advantage.
