Kyle Larson has always had an adventurous personality. During his younger days, he was quite the party animal. There was a time when his life consisted of partying all night, waking up hungover, winning the race the next day, and again ending celebrating by drinking.

As he spoke on the “Rippin’ It” podcast in 2021, Larson explained how he met Katelyn Sweet for the first time. It was during one of the post-race celebrations that he came across Katelyn. In fact, he admitted to drinking more than normal in order to impress her.

Speaking about the time, he said, “We’re all partying that night and I think I was probably trying to show off for her, and I end up getting wasted. She and a couple of my other friends, obviously I was passed out, like on the ground, in bad shape, and they colored all over me.”

While that was a funny act, it was the start of a beautiful love story between the two. After dating for a long period, the couple got engaged on 22nd December 2017. However, the following year, they tied the knot in September in grand fashion. Amazingly, their bond is blessed by the presence of three lovely children.

Do Kyle Larson and Katelyn Sweet have children?

Prior to their marriage, Kyle Larson and Katelyn Sweet enjoyed the parenthood of two wonderful children. On 22nd December 2014, they welcomed their first child Owen Miyata Larson. Four years later and just months before their wedding, the couple welcomed their second child, Audrey Layne Larson.

Unfortunately, with Audrey, an autoimmune disorder started causing her hair loss. Just 18 months after her birth, she began experiencing the effects. In a bold move, Katelyn spoke about it in an interview with TobyChristie.com in September 2022.

The 32-year-old said, “I would stress about it and be very emotional about it because, as much as I knew nothing really bad was happening to her, it was just hair that was being lost, people would look at you and stare at you and ask, ‘Why does she always have a hat on her head?’ She kind of looked like she was going through chemotherapy losing her hair.”

She explained how bringing light to this special situation was very important. Katelyn said, “I just wanted to protect her from anything that might come out later. But I also think it’s good to talk about it and let people know that things are happening in our lives.”

Both Larson and his wife are trying their best to draw attention to the dynamics around Alopecia. In fact, the couple has helped raised money and donated the full amount to National Alopecia Areata Foundation. While they have been trying to spread good vibes everywhere, they were blessed on 31st December 2022 with their third child, Cooper Donald Larson.
