The Hendrick Motorsports team officially unveiled Kyle Larson’s kit for the coming season. For the new season, Kyle Larson will don an all-black racing suit. However, it is worth mentioning that this suit is quite barren, especially in terms of sponsor badges.

The only visible sponsors are, Goodyear, Sunoco, Siemens, and Acronis. It is fairly odd that the newly-recruited driver does not have a primary sponsor on his suit. Of course, there is still a bit more time for the season to begin.

All that Larson would hope for is a primary sponsor within the next few weeks before the 2021 Daytona 500.

Hopefully, he should not have a difficult time in his search. Larson is a hugely talented driver and a proven race winner, so sponsors should ideally flock towards him.

However, his reputation took a massive hit last year after he got embroiled in a controversy. His former team sacked him and he sat out for the rest of the season.

Hendrick Motorsports, meanwhile, also updated a page on their website dedicated to the new no. 5 team, with some of the details of the team.

What to expect from Kyle Larson in 2021?

Now that he has repented for his actions, the Hendrick Motorsports team decided to give him a chance. After Jimmie Johnson hung up his boots, the team turned to Larson to be his successor of sorts.

As mentioned before, Larson is a proven race winner, so if he is in a championship-winning team, he could be one of the title contenders.

Of course, he will face stern competition from reigning champion Chase Elliott, and other contenders like William Byron, Alex Bowman, and the Joe Gibbs Racing, Stewart-Haas, and Penske teams.
