For the 2024 NASCAR Truck season, Rajah Caruth has been competing for Spire Motorsports. In the build-up to the season, HendrickCars confirmed that they will sponsor his truck for 10 races. Now, the organisation has confirmed that they will extend that partnership for the entire season.

The confirmation came from Bob Pockrass, who tweeted, “HendrickCars website had previously said it would sponsor Rajah Caruth for 10 truck races in 2024. It now will sponsor the truck for the full 23 races. Caruth was third at Daytona and eighth at Atlanta.”

So far, Caruth has been pretty impressive, despite not reaching Victory Lane yet. At the Daytona International Speedway, he survived a chaotic race to finish in a fine third place. A week later, Caruth recorded an eighth place finish at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Evidently, HendrickCars was impressed enough to extend their partnership to the end of the season.

What is the relationship between Rajah Caruth and Bubba Wallace

Since both Caruth and Wallace are African-American drivers, the latter has taken Caruth under his wing. As the senior driver, the 23XI Racing star is always there to impart some advice for the youngster. The 21-year-old does not boast of a rich familial history in the motorsport scene. Much like a number of young racers, he grew up racing virtually through iRacing.

When he finally managed to get his hands on a real car, he was firmly aware that things will not be easy. Nevertheless, he has taken the bull by the horns and has been performing extremely well. Last year with GMS Racing was a trial by fire, but he did manage to secure four Top 10 finishes. Safe to say, Bubba Wallace is keeping a close eye on his protege and helping him when he can. Ahead of the Cup race at Daytona, he was spotted deep in conversation with Caruth. It led to a fair amount of speculation, but the #23 driver insisted that it wasn’t serious.

In all honesty, if Caruth can keep up this momentum, he could be very strong. Who knows, maybe he could get a maiden Truck Series win in his career. From there, his career can only take an upward trajectory. There may also come a time when he will eventually race against his mentor, Bubba Wallace. Of course, that prospect is still going to be years away, and Caruth still has to focus on his Truck Series campaign.

It is also worth mentioning that he is expected to make a few appearances in the Xfinity Series in 2024. This time, he will be piloting the #17 Hendrick Motorsports car, which he will share with the regular Cup Series drivers.
