It was just a little while ago that Joey Logano was called out as “two-faced” by Kyle Busch. This happened after the LA Clash at the Coliseum. During the race, Busch was spun around by Logano. He, later on ranted against the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series champion during a podcast. However, recently, Dale Earnhardt Jr‘s business partner and podcast co-host, Mike Davis, slammed Busch for his remarks about Logano.

Mike Davis said, “Here’s a newsflash. All drivers are two-faced. if that’s what we’re defining two faces. I see those driver intros. Everybody’s like they’re big pals, you know? Big pals, hooting and hollering. Yeah, Everybody knows Joey Logano is two-faced. Kyle Busch is two-faced. How about that?”

Davis isn’t wrong about it. Drivers often maintain separate personalities when they are out of the car, versus when they are racing. It’s natural.

The culmination of the event at the Coliseum was marred by numerous incidents on the track. The 150-lap event was dotted with several caution flags, most of which involved collisions between multiple vehicles. As the competition progressed, emotions ran high. Later on during an interview, Busch complained about how Logano had been all nice to him in the Television booth earlier. But then changed colors while out on track, spinning him out.

Busch’s anger was understandable, up to a certain extent. However, his two-faced remark did not come off well to the fans or other people in the NASCAR community. Almost every athlete or sportsman happens to be two-faced in that manner. People only showcase their true personalities when they are not competing. Once in the car, they have to mold into a different personality to bring up their competitive mentality.
