Recently, the JR Motorsports co-owner revealed on the podcast why he couldn’t catch his Xfinity driver’s win Monday’s race on the track as an unexpected quest dropped in and he got busy at home. And ardent fans of the sport simply adore these minute details Dale Jr shares on his podcast that give them an insight into his life. While this is the case, Dale Jr and his better half Amy Earnhardt Jr are also loved for their humble and straightforward approach.

As Dale Jr disclosed his plight as a co-owner and a father of two eccentric girls, his wife Amy Earnhardt too shared an Instagram story that pretty much sums up the perks of raising a toddler!

A consummate professional on and off the track and a loving and gentle father at home, Dale Jr can certainly balance the roles. Most recently, his role as a dad took precedence as he had to miss Monday’s ALSCO 300 Charlotte race for his daughter Isla.

Dale Jr and Amy are probably the proudest parents as the two girls at home are growing up fast. Following Dale Jr’s revelation, Amy has posted a hilarious clip that summarizes the perks of being a parent with a fruity toddler at home.

Amy Earnhardt Jr posted a clip from the popular sitcom, Parks and Recreation, bringing out the actual scenario at home with a naughty 2-year-old.

The chucklesome clip has Ron Swanson from the sitcom while the caption reveals the futility of trying to discipline the naughty kid with an apt caption, “My toddler when I tell them: “I’m being serious and you need to listen to me.” The hilarious post shows the amusing side of having a mischievous toddler at home.

Though he missed Justin Allgaier’s nail-biting finish at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, Dale Jr shared the sleepover adventure that got him to watch the race at home.

The proud JR Motorsports owner just couldn’t catch the #7 Chevy driver’s stellar last-minute rally as he brought his team the much-needed victory. Despite this, Dale Jr revealed to his viewers the real reason he couldn’t make it to the track as the sudden unexpected guest at home shocked the driver.

The 48-year-old’s plans quickly went off the charts as his wife broke the news of Isla’s first-ever sleepover with a friend from school. As Dale Jr painted a beautiful picture of the 5-year-old jumping with excitement, the unexpected guest also had the veteran contemplate, “How the hell did I get here, somebody’s trusting their kid with us?
