In the first week of August, Kyle Larson and a few NASCAR drivers will compete in a new charity race. This race takes place in Philadelphia and is known as the UYRS Celebrity Grand Prix. For the uninitiated, UYRS is an acronym for ‘Urban Youth Racing School’.

The entire event itself lasts from 12:00 PM EDT to 7:00 PM EDT and will be at the Rivers Casino in Philadelphia. This event helps introduce young children into the motorsport arena. It is also worth mentioning that this year’s Grand Prix will be a star-studded one, as Kyle Larson is one of the attendees.

This is not the first time this kind of race has been organized. Past drivers include Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr, Daniel Suarez, and Bubba Wallace. As it turns out, Anthony Martin founded the Urban Youth Racing School (UYRS) in 1998.
