Dale Earnhardt Jr was recently inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame. And he is one of those few drivers whose on-track achievements don’t necessarily reflect their overall impact within and outside of the sport.
To put it in perspective, Dale Jr. was awarded the Most Popular Driver Award for 15 seasons in a row. During the time he was active, he took NASCAR to the next level, to the next generation of the audience through his presence.
It wouldn’t be unfair to say that Earnhardt Jr. resonated with a generation of fans much like his father did, both to a separate generation of course.

However, despite his retirement, his fan following is still strong, and still on an upward trajectory courtesy of his post-retirement endeavors, most notable of which is his podcast.

Here’s how you can get in touch with Dale Earnhardt Jr. (hopefully)
Unfortunately, there isn’t a direct way to communicate with Dale Jr, even for an autograph.
“Due to the overwhelming number of requests for an autograph and Dale Jr.’s demanding schedule, we are not accepting autograph requests at this time,” a message reads on his website.
Of course, there is the old social media on which the Hall of Famer is an active presence and often times replies to fans’ comments and questions. And then there is the old-fashioned way of sending fan letters, which can be addressed to his office at JR Motorsports, Dirty Mo Media, or the Dale Jr. Foundation.

But around the corners of his own team, JR Motorsports, there’s one way in which if a fan is lucky, they can run into their hero. That way is of taking a tour of the JR Motorsports in Mooresville, North Carolina.
According to Dale Jr’s website, “Fans are welcome to visit JR Motorsports during normal business hours. Shop tours are given on Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. upon prior scheduling. Email shoptours@jrmracing.com with your name, the number of people in your party, along with the date and time you would like the tour. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response and confirmation of your request.”
