The Xfinity Series sensation who replaces Kevin Harvick in the #4 Stewart-Haas Racing car isnโt settling for an off-time as he moves ahead with a 3-race plan for November.

Berry will join Kevin Harvick Inc., making his debut under Harvickโs championship-winning crew chief, Rodney Childers, on Saturdayโs โFall Brawlโ at Hickory Motor Speedway in North Carolina. Building up to his KHI debut by joining Childers, Berry upped the ante, teasing the community with a 2-word tweet.

2023 has been a major turnaround for the JR Motorsports driver, Josh Berry. However, the driver never got to the final fray in his Xfinity Series campaign. finishing the season in the 11th spot with zero wins to his name, but Berry caught the attention with his captivating Cup Series performances.
Berry, who got the shot in NASCARโs top-tier division, was the replacement of sidelined Chase Elliott in the #9 HMS shot to fame, dishing out an impressive performance in Richmond, finishing 2nd only to Kyle Larson. The 33-year-old super-sub then got a career-defining opportunity to pilot the #4 SHR Mustang under Rodney Childers as his crew chief in place of the outgoing veteran and 2014 Cup Series champion, Kevin Harvick.
Despite getting the dream opportunity to fill in the shoes of Harvick in 2024, Berry isnโt showing any signs of slowing down. In fact, Berry is returning to his late-model racing roots, teaming up with Childers for his debut with KHI on November 11. He will be piloting the No. 62 Ford Mustang at the โworldโs most famous short track,โ Hickory Motor Speedway. Berry will return to the entry at Florence Motor Speedway on Nov. 18 and at Southern National Motorsports Park on Nov. 26 for the rest of 2 races in his three-race fixture.

The driver on his social media shared his excitement, tweeting out, โCanโt wait,โ along with a flexing emoji to his new crew chiefโs post.ย These races will mark the first opportunities for Berry to work with and sync with Rodney Childers, who will be his crew chief during the 2024 Cup season.

KHIโs SHR duo makes headlines for the late-model racing extravaganza
Besides Berry, who will be kicking off his relationship with Rodney Childers, Ryan Preece will also be a part of KHIโs venture. The #41 Cup Series driver, Ryan Preece, will return to the Crown jewel snow derby late-model bonanza for the second time in the #62 Ford at the Five Flags Speedway on December 3rd.

Reflecting on his KHI debut, Berry, according to JaySki.com, said, โIโm really looking forward to running the KHI late model. Late Model Stock racing is something Iโve done a lot of in the past, so to get to do that with KHI and Kevin as they are rebuilding is going to be a lot of fun.โ

Preece also relayed his excitement about being part of the veteranโs team as he looks to bring home the trophy. Preece said, โThe Snowball Derby is a prestigious race for all those full fender guys, and me coming from the Northeast and open wheels, I almost feel like the outlaw, that guy who is not from the series and Iโm going to come in and try to take their trophy. Driving for Kevin Harvick and KHI, and representing Morton Buildings, it would mean a lot to me to bring the Tom Dawson trophy back to North Carolina and maybe back to Connecticut one day.โ
