Elliott appreciated Ryan Blaney’s gesture to help him win the race at Nashville.

It’s no surprise that Blaney and Chase are good friends. Fortunately, in Nashville, we got to see their friendship on track. Elliott went on the radio to appreciate his friend in the #12 car as he said, “Ryan [Blaney] gave me a great shove; I appreciate him doing me a solid there and getting us out front.”

Elliott then appreciated his team, “I’m just so proud of our team. We had kind of a setback, there, about halfway and were able to get our NAPA Chevy dialed back in and get back in the mix. It was a long day; a fun day.”

Of course, as the winner, he got an awesome Gibson Les Paul with a custom paint job. It’s not called the city of music for nothing. Surely, Chase was really looking forward to that guitar.

In fact, he said it himself, “Getting a win is always huge. To do it in a really cool city like Nashville is even better, so looking forward to that guitar.”

Chase Elliott And Ryan Blaney’s Friendship Goes Way Back

Ryan Blaney and Elliott have been friends for a long time. In fact, they grew up racing together, along with Bubba Wallace.

In a YouTube video with fubo Sports, we have heard Blaney say, “I grew up racing with Bubba Wallace, Chase Elliott. I’ve known those guys forever.”
