The weather played spoilsport for the third day in a row in Texas. As a result, the drivers were left to their own devices and quite a few of them hung out together. However, the same could not be said about Joey Logano.
Speaking about his plans in the wake of the delay, he said, “I don’t know if you guys realized. I don’t have many friends at the racetrack. So I just hang out.”
On a more serious note, he revealed that he analyzed the race at Phoenix a few times. In addition to that, he has been busy with several phone calls and extra-curricular activities.

Therefore, he has just been relaxing for the last couple of days, especially since he is already through to the Championship 4.
What prompted Joey Logano to declare that he has no friends?
Back in late September, Logano and Kyle Busch tangled with each other at the Bristol Motor Speedway. This all but dented his playoff hopes, and he raged, “He’s [Logano] nobody’s friend for a reason, so there you have it.”

At the time, Busch was battling Kevin Harvick for the lead, but Logano’s interference cost him dearly. As a result, Harvick went largely unchallenged in that race and won comfortably.

In response, Logano insisted, “First off, I have a lot of friends. It’s funny, because all of them called me yesterday, or Sunday, and said, ‘Hey, I’m your friend’. That was the beginning of every conversation.”

On a more serious note, Logano agreed with Busch’s statement. However, he clarified that the rivalry was restricted to the racetrack. Away from it, Joey Logano assured everyone that he had a habit of surrounding himself with a great group of friends.
