It is only natural for couples to have a few differences between them. After all, where would all the fun be if there were no ups and downs in a relationship? Dale and Amy got married on New Year’s eve of 2016 and have been living happily after. Having been blessed with two beautiful children, they couldn’t have asked for more. With that said, Dale Earnhardt Jr and Amy Earnhardt do not differ from the usual couple and have differing opinions on things.

Dale Earnhardt Jr and Amy did not see eye-to-eye recently

The 48-year-old has been sharing some amazing stories on his podcast The Dale Jr Download. In a new episode, Dale Jr. revealed how he loved the beach camping setup and all the preparations involving it. He said, “I get good vibes from putting it together, organizing it, getting it just like, you know, just like prepping a brisket, right, for the barbecue.”

The former Hendrick Motorsports driver explained how he hates it if they do not spend enough time on the beach, especially after investing so much time in the preparations. He continued, “And so, I enjoy doing that to go to the beach and then going out there. If I’m taking all that s**t out there, I ain’t sitting there for an hour.”

He further explained how their house is right at the beach and any breaks concerning the kids cannot be a hassle. Unfortunately, his wife Amy doesn’t see it that way and is quite keen on going back in the event of any such scenario. Dale Jr. said, “If it’s obvious that the kids are tired and want to go home, I, alright, fine, I’ll pack it all back up. Nobody else has to do a thing but that’s the way I am. Amy’s not quite that way.”

He added, “I mean, she don’t mind, but, you know, I don’t wanna make a big deal. I’m not trying to throw her under the bus here, but I was just curious… I must be unique in that way.”

As both Amy and Dale are involved in plenty of activities together as a couple, they are bound to have different tastes in things time and again. The couple loves binge-watching TV shows together and sometimes they try to find a common ground.

Speaking about their favorite genre in one of his podcast episodes, Junior said, “I’m kind of a sitcom guy, I used to be anyways, but we watch a lot of southern charm, and Amy watches some housewife shows. We’re kinda like in flux right now, we’re kinda like in between, like when we find something we kinda float in that genre a little bit.”
