While many would’ve thought the Kyle Busch-Joe Gibbs Racing controversy from last season had come to an end with both parties going their separate ways, it seems that hasn’t been the case. Because not only did Busch’s ex-teammate Denny Hamlin make some new revelations about Busch’s ‘demands’ in 2022, but what he revealed didn’t sit well with the fans.

In a recent episode of the Actions Detrimental podcast, Hamlin addressed Rowdy fans going all, “See we told ya!” to Joe Gibbs Racing after Busch’s win at Fontana.

“People have to understand that Joe Gibbs wanted to sign Kyle Busch,” Hamlin claimed. “They really tried, and they gave him a very, very good offer. But he did not want to take it and ended up taking probably a lot less because he had ran out of options at RCR.”

Hamlin asks Kyle Busch fans to be ‘grateful’ to Joe Gibbs Racing
Having made the revelation of Joe Gibbs wanting Kyle Busch to stay, something a majority of the fans just don’t agree with, Denny Hamlin described why fans should be thankful for JGR.
It’s worth noting that Busch spent the biggest chunk of his career on Coach Gibbs’ team, and consequently, the majority of the success he’s had in his career so far, also came to Gibbs.

“I think that Kyle Busch fans should be grateful of Joe Gibbs Racing. They got Kyle 50-some of his wins. They provided him with great equipment,” he expressed.
