Ross Chastain’s Martinsville move was surely one in a million. However, while many people loved what Chastain pulled off, quite a few other drivers were not amused by the move and they cried foul, asking the officials to ban it as soon as possible. Ross Chastain recently let everyone know how he felt about the demand of ban from drivers.

NASCAR journalist Mark Weaver said, “‘It’s funny how that works.” ‘Chastain on reading the negativity from his peers over Martinsville over social media but not in person. ‘Spent media day with them, in the garage all weekend, nothing.’ He takes exception a little to the polarity between fan and driver reaction.”

The argument that if Chase Elliott did it, no one would say anything is the primary notion here. This is true, Ross is not quite liked by other drivers, after he kind of ended up on the enemy list of almost half the grid early into the season.

Of course, if these were one of them Hendrick cars, possibly Kyle Larson would not call it to be “embarrassing.”

NASCAR fans react to Ross Chastain’s statement

Fans had loved that epic move and were all in for it, however, they pointed out his peers would have been jealous or angry that such a move would never work for them, but only Chastain pulls it off on this occasion.
