He said, “This is a massive opportunity for me. I wholeheartedly believe that I’m one of the best drivers in this sport at the highest level. Given the right opportunity, I can prove that. I’m looking forward to it, It’s a great challenge and opportunity at some great race tracks. As excited as I can be and I’m gonna give all I got. Aside from the season opener at Daytona, the Joe Gibbs Racing team will deploy him in a few other races. His Xfinity schedule includes the Homestead-Miami Speedway, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and the Talladega Superspeedway. Suffice to say, the outfit can benefit greatly from his experience, especially with more than 350 starts under his belt.

Ty Dillon is also a former Xfinity at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. In addition to that, he finished in the Top 5 in every full-time Xfinity season. Since then, he has graduated to the Cup Series and has been performing well in that arena. For this season though, he will focus on his limited Xfinity cameos and his full-time Cup Series season.
