Earlier, Chase Briscoe snatched his first career NASCAR Cup Series win. Obviously, the 27-year-old was absolutely delighted with the win. In light of the win, Mahindra and Mahindra chairman Anand Mahindra offered his congratulations. The Indian businessman was proud because Briscoe’s title sponsor is Mahindra Tractors.

According to the businessman, he was proud to see a division of his company as a sponsor. Admittedly, Mahindra is no stranger to the racing scene, as the company first joined the Moto3 class of MotoGP. Over there, the Indian manufacturer racked up a couple of wins.

Later on, when Formula E first began, it was one of the founding teams. Since then, the outfit has been competing in the all-electric championship since 2014. However, the partnership with Briscoe is the first time Mahindra has treaded into NASCAR territory.

What next for Chase Briscoe in the 2022 NASCAR Cup season?

Obviously, Briscoe’s win opens up Stewart-Haas Racing’s account in the new season. It also confirms that the Ford drivers are pretty quick; especially considering that Joey Logano won the Clash at the Coliseum and Austin Cindric won the Daytona 500. The first two wins would make people think that Team Penske have shot out of the gates first. However, with Briscoe adding a third Ford win, it confirms that they have adapted to the Next Gen cars quicker.

With Hendrick Motorsports pulling two back for Chevrolet, it means that Toyota could be under pressure. In fact, the highest-place Toyota was Kurt Busch in 5th place in that race. It isn’t for the lack of trying though, as Kyle Busch was second at the Coliseum, and Bubba Wallace was 2nd at Daytona. Coming back to Briscoe though, it looks like he will be the one to lead the Stewart-Haas Racing charge.
