“Irresponsible & Disrespectful?” – NASCAR Fans React to Statement on Spicy Kyle Busch-Hendrick Motorsports Rumors

Amidst mounting social media rumor-based pressure over Alex Bowman’s future at Hendrick, NASCAR journalist confirmed that a Kyle Busch move to replace Bowman wasn’t going to happen and also advised people not to spread misinformation.
NASCAR Journalist Kelly Crandall confirmed that Kyle Busch would not be heading to Hendrick Motorsports and that rumors surrounding Busch replacing Bowman are incorrect and should not be spread around. Over Twitter, she wrote, “Dear NASCAR Twitter threads, I am very confident in saying that Kyle Busch will not be signing with Hendrick Motorsports to replace Alex Bowman the No. 48 Chevrolet with Ally sponsorship. Tagging those feeds is not only irresponsible but disrespectful to those parties.“

The delay in Kyle Busch’s announcement has propped up a lot of such rumors lately. NASCAR fans reacted to Crandall’s message and stated that these things happen in the silly season.

Instead of agreeing with Crandall, fans clamored over her tweet and argued that rumors will always be around during the NASCAR silly seasons.

Most fans were seen arguing that silly season meant driver movement rumors were going to be prevalent and she could not stop people from doing it. However, a few fans did understand that misinformation can cause further confusion and agreed with Crandall’s statement.

The most likely place Busch could end up, as per reports, is Richard Childress Racing or he continue with his current team, Joe Gibbs Racing.
