NASCAR recently concluded the 12th round of the Cup Series race in Darlington Raceway. The track at South Carolina saw Joey Logano run away with the winner’s trophy after Logano hit William Byron to throw him out of the race. As Byron went for golfing session post-race with Bubba Wallace, fans flock in with Joey Logano’s comments.

The win at Darlington has been Logano’s first win of the season. However, the win came at the expense of Byron. The closing laps saw the Penske driver push the Hendrick Motorsports driver to take the Chequered flag. The push resulted in Byron hitting the wall and dropping down to 13th position before crossing the finish line.

Talking about the hit at Darlington, Byron conveyed, “I mean he runs everybody over, so I don’t see what’s different.” Joey received heavy criticism and boos all around after his win in the Cup Series race. Interestingly, the Darlington race wasn’t a good race for Bubba Wallace either.

The massive pile-up caused by Martin Truex Jr. ruined the day for Bubba. Martin triggered a massive multi-car crash that took out Kurt Busch, Denny Hamlin, and of course, Wallace Jr. All in all, the race at Darlington wasn’t a race to remember for either Bubba or Byron.
