Ahead of Formula 1’s first of the second outings in the United States, Hendrick Motorsports Vice Chairman, Jeff Gordon had claimed that Formula 1 and NASCAR are two sports that can co-exist. But at the same time, another Hendrick icon, Dale Earnhardt Jr, seems to be feeling the heat all the way from Miami into Darlington.

Now, there’s no way you didn’t know this, but there is a certain Miami Grand Prix weekend going on simultaneously with NASCAR’s weekly races. And Earnhardt Jr points his followers to the real party.

“We are where the real party is at,” he reacted to a picture of him alongside the two co-hosts, and would you believe it, Drake.

Yes, the NASCAR Hotline Bling reached the Canadian icon, and he made his way into Darlington for the Xfinity Series race on Saturday.

NASCAR spotters reveal how Dale Earnhardt Jr rewarded them for their show’s success

In a recent episode of the Door Bumper Clear podcast, Brett Griffin described the big leaps their show has made ever since its inception. The spotter recalled how they started from a couch in a closet and, thanks to Dale Jr, and of course, a lot of hard work, they are where they are today.

“It’s funny that you know, we were kinda like punished when we were in there. And then Dale Jr. comes in and does one show and the next thing you know, there’s a gigantic studio over there,” TJ Majors said.
