Dale Earnahrdt Jr‘s nephew and full-time Xfinity driver Jeffrey Earnhardt will be driving the #44 Chevrolet Camaro for Alpha Prime Racing in 2023. Prior to this, Jeffrey raced with various teams including Joe Gibbs Racing, Gaunt Brothers Racing, and Premium Motorsports.

However, irrespective of his stints with several big and small racing teams, Jeffrey feels like there are a lot of opportunities that he might have missed due to financial concerns. In a recent Dale Jr Download episode featuring Jeffrey Earnhardt and his aunt Kelley Earnhardt Miller, Jeffrey revealed why he thinks money is one of the most important factors to get a deal.
During the conversation, Kelley asked Jeffrey, “What makes it impossible for an RCR to pit you in their car or a Gibbs or a JR Motorsports or something?”

To this, the Xfinity driver simply admitted “it’s money.” Explaining how onboarding a driver is a huge investment for any racing team, Jeffrey said,

So, not only for himself, Jeffrey Earnhardt feels that money is a huge deal for almost every race car driver out there. Explaining how it’s not just about a big or a small racing team, Jeffrey said that a lot of deserving drivers lose good opportunities because they don’t get enough money to sponsor their talent. He said,
Apart from this, Jeffrey also talked about other factors that contribute to a driver not being able to find a good team. Moreover, he also admitted how he didn’t appreciate what he had early in his career and had to work hard to get where he is today.
