Many were left confused towards the end of the race at Nashville when NASCAR didn’t call a caution after the Brad Keselowski wreck. This was something that the spotter of Bubba Wallace recently expressed his frustration about.

In a recent episode of the Door Bumper Clear podcast, Freddie Kraft showed his disapproval of the rule that a race director has specific instructions as to who to consult before throwing a caution.

“Why do you have a race director if the race director has to rely on the series vice president and whoever that calls caution? Like why does the situation matter when you throw a caution? It’s a f*****g caution flag. It’s a safety device, not an entertainment device,” Kraft said.

“This is ridiculous.”

“Why are you…he has the ability to throw the caution if he wants to but if there’s a race altering situation he has to talk to somebody else? NO! That’s not the way this f*****g works,” he continued.

“I don’t get it. It’s either a caution or it’s not a caution,” Kraft added. “We just want consistency.”

Bubba Wallace didn’t hold back on his crew on radio at Nashville

So far this season, Bubba Wallace has had race results that were compromised majorly because of errors from his pit crew, errors mostly beyond his control. Nashville was another addition to the list.

And this time, Wallace didn’t hold back on his team.

“Leave me the f**k alone, dude. Don’t talk to me the whole f*****g race,” he told his crew chief Bootie Barker on the radio.

This was because Barker told Wallace to come back to the pits after one of his wheels was found to be loose. As he was doing so, in the middle of a good run, Wallace got hit by Tyler Reddick.

Because of this, the crew chief apologized to his driver, but it seemed the driver couldn’t control his frustrations as he lashed out on the radio.
