“It’s Not Necessarily Fair” – Dale Earnhardt Jr’s Nephew Reveals How NASCAR Created an Obstacle in His Love Life

The Earnhardt family has been a significant part of NASCAR for four generations now. As one of the greatest of all time, Dale Earnhardt Sr’s name has become synonymous with the sport itself. Dale Earnhardt Jr followed in his footsteps and has created a space of his own over time, even getting inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Moreover, his nephew Jeffrey too is trying hard to make a place for himself.

Though he has been racing stock cars for over a decade, he has not been able to find success comparable to his uncle and grandfather. But he is certainly on the way to building a legacy for himself. During a conversation with Dale Jr on the Dale Jr. Download podcast, Jeffrey shed light on a few important things about his life.

Dale Jr asked his nephew about his romantic relationships. He knew that there was a woman in Jeffrey’s life before who meant everything to him. Citing his own experience, Dale Jr said that things can take a pleasant turn anytime, just like it happened for him. One fine day, the girl he was dating became everything to him. Dale Jr added that maybe this experience hasn’t happened to his nephew yet. 

Jeffrey feels there is a right time for everything. He said, “What’s meant to be, it’ll happen. You know, like, it’s not necessarily fair when I’m so focused on racing, like I want to be successful at this, I want to do big things, and it’s hard to give someone else time.

“I mean you know how hard it is to be successful at racing, it’s every day.” Both Dale Jr and his sister Kelley Earnhardt Miller agreed with Jeffrey on that.

One is constantly in the spotlight when people in the fraternity know that someone is related to a legend like Dale Earnhardt Sr. Things worked out well for Dale Jr and he achieved a lot of success on NASCAR tracks. The fact that he won the Cup Series Most Popular Driver award fifteen consecutive times is a testament to the love he received from fans. But for Dale Jr’s nephew, it has been a rocky ride.
