“It’s Not the Same Game Anymore” – Tony Stewart Gives Exciting Update Amidst the ‘Biggest Transition’ in NASCAR

NASCAR Hall of Fame member and three-time champion Tony Stewart recently spoke on the development of the Next Gen car. Stewart, who is also an owner of the Stewart-Haas Racing team, shared his thoughts on the new car after he unveiled a new sponsorship.

In an interview with SiriusXM, Stewart called the step to Next Gen as “the biggest transition” he’s ever seen during his time in NASCAR. He said, “There’s so many things that are way different than what we’re accustomed to.”

“The entire chassis is different from anything we’ve seen in the sport.”

Stewart explained that with all the fresh changes, NASCAR is set to become more exciting than ever. He said, “There are a lot of new variables, a lot of new challenges that every team is gonna have to learn. But I think that’s gonna bring a level of excitement we haven’t seen.”

“It’s not the same game anymore, it’s the same series, same drivers, same teams. But you got a new car, that’s going to bring a new element to the game, that’s going to be exciting to watch.”

A new sponsor for a new car for Tony Stewart and his team

While the Next Gen car will be a big update for the whole of NASCAR, Stewart-Haas Racing has also announced a big update on their car. That being of a new sponsor for driver Chase Briscoe’s No.14.

Stewart’s team announced Indian automobile and tractor giant Mahindra Tractors as the main sponsor for the Next Gen Ford Mustang.

“We are proud to have them representing the brand. In fact, Tony is already a Mahindra owner and has been putting his 5145 tractor to good use on his ranch in Indiana,” Viren Popli, the CEO of Mahindra AG North America, said.

Briscoe described it as a “true partnership” which is mutually valuable. He said, “I’m incredibly honored to represent Mahindra Tractors and all of its dealers. We both want to continue to grow and perform – me on the racetrack and Mahindra in the marketplace.”
