Since the start of the 2023 season, Hendrick Motorsports has constantly been occupying the top spots on NASCAR’s Cup Series standings. Earlier it was #48 Alex Bowman who was leading in points until a Sprint Car injury saw him fall multiple spots. HMS #24 William Byron then stepped up to the position of point leader, until Martin Truex Jr’s #19 surpassed him with a dominant win at New Hampshire.
