What is the true measure of success? Well, if you keep aside all the metrics put forward by self-help gurus, then a person can be called successful if he/she has earned hundreds of millions following their passion, and it is at an age of 50 that they get a job, that too a job that keeps them close to their passion. Just look at Jeff Gordon.
Inarguably, one of the greatest drivers ever in not just NASCAR, but in the history of motorsports, Gordon built his fortune by following his passion for racing. And as records and numbers will tell you, he was quite good at it.

“This is a 27/4 (job),” Gordon laughed. “Rick and I joke all the time because, for some reason, I waited until I was 50 to have a real job. And I wouldn’t have been prepared for it any sooner.”
