A great thing about NASCAR today is that there is a good sense of camaraderie among the younger drivers coming up in the system, which is mostly evident through their social media updates. While appreciative posts and shoutouts take the cake on most occasions, the drivers don’t miss chances to occasionally trade jabs with each other either. And, that is exactly what happened between Connor Zilisch and Jesse Love, which even shocked fans on X. The racers, who have taken part in NASCAR races this year, took shots at some of the weaknesses in each other’s race craft.
Jesse Love’s attempt at being funny backfires
The two drivers have made some errors in their respective competitions so far this season and when Brett Griffin asked fans to send some questions in for Connor Zilisch, Jesse Love could not help himself. The part-time Spire Motorsports star also was not going to sit back and take it as he reminded the RCR man of his heartbreaking finish at the Atlanta Motor Speedway earlier this season.

Love was the first one to comment as he wrote, “What brake marker should I use into turn 1 at cota?” He could be speaking about Zilisch being a victim of the track limits at the iconic venue. However, the Spire Motorsports man came back with a scathing reply. Jesse Love looked set to win the Atlanta race a few weeks ago, but running out of fuel, he only managed P12. “What’s the best way to save fuel on superspeedways?” Zilisch hilariously retorted.
