Ever wondered what playlist of songs your favorite NASCAR driver plays while driving their ride? Well, it is indeed tough to predict their taste in music. However, a recent video by Dirty Mo Media did try to pull off a similar stunt. A group of fans were asked which NASCAR driver would they not want to hand the AUX cord over to.

This did bring up some interesting replies, but the one that stood out was a fan’s reply about Joey Logano having the worst playlist among all the other drivers. This certainly was a surprise for the Penske star, who then came clean on his music preferences, and it wasn’t the Taylor Swift tunes.

Joey Logano reacts to being labeled as the driver with the worst music selection

Andrew Kurland, the host from Dirty Mo Media, decided to put the fans on a stand with a tricky question. This is not the first time Kurland has had such an interaction with the fans, but this particular one was rather interesting. The fans this once had to pick a driver who they felt had somewhat unsavory taste in music.

The one that caught the eye was a fan picking on Joey Logano. Kurland even asked the fan about his guess on what would be on Logano’s playlist. To which he replied, Taylor Swift. Kurland was quick to report this to the man himself, and Logano was in shock to know that he was chosen by the fans to have the worst music selection.

In his defense, the Penske star then went on to share his real taste in music. “I like today’s country music, it’s good. I like some old-school hip-hop; everybody likes that. They need to back off.” It wasn’t just the fans who shared their views about the NASCAR drivers’ musical preferences, the spotter of the #23 23XI car also chimed in with his response that Bubba Wallace would have the worst taste, saying, “100 %, that goat’s on fire sh*t”. 

Logano might not be into pop music or listening to Taylor Swift. However, the same cannot be said for the JGR star driver, who was caught red-handed bumping Swift’s tunes.

Not once, but twice Hamlin has shared his liking for Taylor Swift and her tunes. The first instance was when he reacted to the outburst of NFL fans for giving Swift a good chunk of screen time during the game between the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs. Drawing similarities between the incident and his feature in the NASCAR: Full Speed series, he took to Instagram and wrote, “I wish they’d stop showing Denny Hamlin – @killatrav and @taylorswift probably.”

The second instance is where he himself agreed that he was listening to Taylor Swift’s tune while having a cold plunge. This incident was shared by her fiancee, Jordan Fish. “Are you listening to Taylor Swift?” to which the veteran driver replied, “Yes“. So despite him poking fun at the pop star at times, it feels like he truly is a fan of the famed artist.

As far as Joey Logano’s playlist is concerned, bumping old-school hip-hop beats and good country music is surely not something to look down upon.
